An Offshore Company can be opened only through agents who have been registered with us. No offshore companies are permitted to deal with financial activities and media activities.
Registered Agent business covers the business of providing management services, administration services and processing services. At present our Registered Agent are Legal Consultancies, Chartered Accounting Firms, and Business Consultancies.
An application can be considered for a license to conduct Registered Agent business in Emirates RAK Free Trade Zone (FTZ) if it meets the following criteria:
» A firm engaging in company management activities licensed by regulatory authority in the country of origin, if applicable.
» Ability to demonstrate successful undertakings of similar business activities in other offshore centres.
» An offshore company incorporated under Emirates RAK Free Trade Zone (FTZ) International business Companies Regulations of 2006 to be run by personnel with the necessary expertise and skills.
» The initial license fee for an Agent is AED 15,000*
